After Effects + Quicktime 7.4 = :(

We don't get a ton of After Effects users but this is pretty valuable info. If you're having any problems with After Effects exports, just check which version of Quicktime you have on the machine. If it's the evil 7.4 you may want to run an update.

  • You actually wouldn't run an update; you would have to overwrite the 7.4 update with an older QuickTime version (7.3).
